Design Printing wants to ensure that your print jobs have all of the complete information.
Below is a list of file submission requirements. Our professional design team is standing by to answer any additional questions.
Bindery
- All files to be in CMYK color space with total D-max not to exceed 325%
- File Size (at 100% of usage):
- Rastor photo images 300 dpi - 400 dpi
- Bitmap or Line images 1200 dpi
Page Layout Programs
- Always preferred as it allows us to alter files for best results or last minute alterations
- Adobe InDesign with all images and fonts
- QuarkXpress with all images and fonts
Drawing Programs
- Adobe Illustrator with linked graphics and all fonts
- Adobe Illustrator with nested graphics (not recommended)
- Adobe Illustrator .pdf (document size must include bleed)
Photoshop
- Photo shop .psd files with all required fonts (on type layer) and bleed requirements
- Because you can do everything in Adobe Photoshop, doesn’t mean it’s a good idea
PDF Submissions
- PDF exports from professional software using high quality settings
Microsoft Office Programs
- To ensure things stay as you want them convert file to .pdf (acrobat)
- We recommend making a distilled .pdf using Adobe Acrobat with all fonts embedded (see above)
