Design Printing has been a pioneer in “Green Printing”: we maintain both FSC ( Forestry Stewardship Council) and SFI (Sustainable Forestry Initiative) certifications, which are rigorously audited. Our stock paper is recycled, and we offer recycled stocks to all clients. Using vegetable-based inks, direct to plate technology, and other innovations eliminates many intermediate steps and materials; using energy-conscious, water-based coatings, as well as low V.O.C. (volatile organic compounds) press cleaners and non-solvent cleaning supplies at our plant has reduced costs and waste.
